In 2002, a team of leading travel writers listed the 50 best family-friendly hotels in the World, in the Independent, (a quality British daily newspaper). We were somewhat pleased to be included, tho' as we get little competition from outer space we claim to be one of the Top 50 family-friendly hotels in the universe! |
We have won numerous awards and mentions for catering for children but,
in fact, we do not differentiate betweeen children and adults. Well
behaved children are as welcome as well-behaved grown-ups and fully
catered for. As are parents, grand-parents, teenagers etc. Cots, highchairs,
boosters etc. all available. |

 Listening
and babysitting available but does not remove parents' responsibility
for their own children. We have 2/3 Family suites as well as large rooms
that accommodate extra beds but we do get booked way ahead, at peak
times so please get in touch 'pronto'. We offer a full junior
à la carte menu - early evening meals available. |

But don't get the idea that we are 'overrun' by children,
we just treat them as part of the human race (!), sadly rare in British
hotels.

As we say above, our objective is for everyone to
feel comfortable & relaxed and we never forget that its adults who
pay our wages, not the children!!
