Places to visit

We have full details (opening times, guide books etc.) here in the lounges and bedrooms but yes, we have built our popularity on the bedrock that we are a super, good value base from which to tour the Cotswolds, Stratford, Warwick, the Malverns, Wye Valley and even the Midlands' Industrial archaeological area (a contradiction in terms?!)

Car

So with 30 / 40 minutes drive (unless you get stuck behind a tractor, flock of sheep!) you could easily potter round one of the following haunts:
Evesham - (obviously!) a busy little market town
Stratford -stacks to do (not all Shakespeare related) & good shops 'cos of all the d****d tourists (the others, not you!) around

Warwick - the finest medieval castle in England, says Mme Tussauds who owns it! - on that basis we're the finest hotel in the universe!
Worcester - Cathedral & Royal Worcester Porcelain

Cheltenham - Pleasant Georgian Spa
Malvern - Victorian Spa ideal for the energetic, hills with superb view & 'Cottage in the Wood Hotel' (second best hotel in the universe!)

North Cotswolds - Best to just potter around these picturesque villages - Broadway, Snowshill, Stanton, Winchcombe, Upper & Lower Slaughter, Bourton-on-the-Water, Stow-on-the-Wold, Moreton-in-Marsh, Chipping Campden
Cotswolds

Vale of Evesham villages - this is Archers country so Elmley Castle, Ashton-under-Hill, Bredon, Overbury, make a delightful unspoilt tour around Bredon Hill

and of course there are lots of good country pubs to call in on the way!
